CGR Consulting’s founding came in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. We saw a few concerning things happening that lead us to see the need for true International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants® in Orlando. Insurance companies were honoring homeowner’s policies or Florida law regarding roof repair and replacement, or less than professional “roofers” weren’t properly doing what they should have been doing. That lead to too many homeowners with roofing issues. These homeowners needed someone on their side.
Russ Noyes, our founder, knew that when the issue was with the installation of a new roof or a roof repair that the problem came from roofers not using proper materials or processes. Yes, it’s true that any licensed roofer can provide a roofing inspection, not all roofing inspections are the same. In fact, as Registered Roofing Consultants, we’ve invested significant time and money in training and certifications so that we’re more than just another roofer or roofing inspector.
Our HAAG Certifications in Residential Roofing, Wind Damage and as Commercial inspectors are just a small portion of the additional training that we’ve invested in. With the HAAG training as well as training from many manufacturers and associations, the CGR team can determine from where your issues stem and provide you with recommendations for your best course of action. Because of Russ’s vast experience, training and knowledge in all types of roofing, his testimony, whether in a court room or in a written report, carry more weight than just about any other roofer.

About Russ Noyes
Born in Maine, Russ Noyes learned the value of hard work growing up on his family’s orchard, under his watchful grandfather,
for whom he’s named. When his father moved to Florida, Russ soon followed in his teens, and also into a roofing career.
After helping his dad build a successful small roofing business in Central Florida, Russ made a name for himself in the roofing
community while honing his skills working locally. In 2006, he decided he couldn’t keep doing it any other way than his own, and
established Russ Noyes Roofing, and continues to serve the Orlando area.
Russ is a contractor dedicated to his trade and always yearning to learn what’s new and innovative, while taking time to train his
employees and ensure that everyone understands and believes in his way of doing business. When you work with Russ
Noyes, you become part of the family.
In addition to his Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor License, Russ is a Certified HAAG Inspector in Wind, Residential
and Commercial Categories. Russ is also a proud member of the FRSA, and BOAF. He also carries several master
certifications with roofing product manufacturers.
Russ and his wife, Christina, and their daughter, Gracie, live near the coast, as Russ is an avid off shore fisherman when spare
time allows.
